Grand Chase Updates: Elesis 1st Job Class, Cash Bonus, and More!
Thanks to everyone who welcomed me back in my other post. Anyway, let’s kick things off with an update on Level Up’s latest game, Grand Chase! To those who don’t know, Grand Chase is now one of the most played games among the titles being offered by Level Up. It’s a great and simple fighting game that has taken the country by storm. For Grand Chase, we have tons of new game contents that we’re releasing in the coming weeks. Today we’re coming out with the 1st job class of Elesis - the Spearman. Check out the picture above if you want to get a better idea of what I’m talking about.
But wait! There’s more! We also have a cash top-up bonus for Grand Chase. This is a limited promo that we’re running starting today and I hope that you guys make the most out of it to buy whatever it is you want to buy in the shopping mall. Grand Chase New Character - Ronan!
Grand Chase will be launching it’s commercial service on November 18, 2008! What does this mean? Well basically it just means that we will be opening the in-game item shop to everyone. You will be able to buy item sets, weapons, and various consumables. We will also be introducing a new character into the game - Ronan! It’s the first male character of Grand Chase Philippines so I’m pretty sure a lot of people will be clamoring to get him in their stable. Q: What’s the difference between OBT and Commercial Service?
A: OBT or Open Beta Testing is a stage where all players can try out the game and help the Grand Chase team find and fix bugs and errors. Commercial Service is the stage where Grand Chase is officially launched. This is also the phase wherein the Item Mall and latest content is released.Q: What do we do if we encounter these bugs and errors?

Grand Chase Open Beta Celebration Events
First - let me give you guys an update on the OBT for Grand Chase. Maintenance has been extended until 2:00PM since we encountered some last minute bugs that needed to be fixed before we could bring up the game. I can’t guarantee that it will be up at exactly 2PM but the team is really trying their best to have it up and running by that time. Anyway, that’s the bad news… now for the good news! KOG, the developers of Grand Chase, have come up with several in-game Open Beta celebration events and activities for Grand Chase! There’s a bunch of quests that you can do and you also get free items as long as you log-in everyday during the OBT period. Oh, we’re also having the first ever EXP mod as well. The first event is basically our “thank you” to everyone who participated during the CBT. Basically just log-in anytime during OBT and you’ll get a bunch of gifts from KOG and Level Up.

Grand Chase now on CBT!
Grand Chase, the latest game to be published by Level Up, is now officially on Closed Beta Testing! As of around 1:15PM today, we’ve opened the servers up to all the players who were able to get CBT accounts through the website or through the live events that we sponsored in the past few weeks. The Grand Chase Team is working double time on getting th forums up so you guys can start discussing the game features and report bugs so please wait for that one. Grand Chase CBT Starts On October 14, 2008!
For the past few days, we’ve been getting calls, e-mails, and comments about how the Grand Chase CBT client doesn’t work. Well er… that’s because it’s not yet open to the public guys. We just let you download the client and get your accounts in advance so there won’t be any traffic during opening day. Anyway, the good news is that we now have a sure date on when we will start CBT. On October 14, 2008, we will open CBT and we’re inviting all of you to join in on the fun! Grand Chase will surely be the next big thing in the Philippines and it would be bad if you missed out on all the action.
If you haven’t signed up for a CBT account, please visit the Grand Chase website and get one. Note that you don’t have to win a raffle to get the CBT account! All you have to do is to input your e-mail address and we’ll send you the account information in 1-2 days. After getting the account, just download the client through the Grand Chase website as well. By the way, feel free to drop by at the Cosplay Mania event on October 12. We have a public GC game trial there and we will be giving away Grand Chase installers, CBT accounts, and posters for FREE!

Level Up Brings Grand Chase to the Philippines
Finally we can announce it! Level Up Games is bringing in another kick ass game to the local gaming scene. It’s an international hit, having a solid following already in Brazil, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the US. Get ready for one hell of a rumble because Grand Chase is coming to the Philippines! But when the evil Queen of Darkness, KazeAaze, tricked the Queen of Kanavan unto waging war with the Queen of Serdin, the entire continent experienced turmoil of a 5-year war.
It was only when the Queen of Serdin sacrificed her life that the magic of the Evil Queen was broken — which finally ended the war. Angered from all the deceit, the Queen of Kanavan ordered for the execution of the evil Queen; but she has already escaped and is nowhere to be found. Now, an elite group of warriors embark on the quest to find the evil Queen and put an end to all her evil plans — the quest now known to be as Grand Chase.
Unlike other fantasy MMOGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games), Grand Chase features an intense and fast-paced gameplay with simple, arcade control system; making it easy for players to become accustomed with the game. Thanks to its intuitive and dynamic controls, players can launch devastating combo attacks that will test anyone’s eye-hand coordination. Coupled by eye-popping graphical effects with each attack and combo performed, Grand Chase is a visual treat especially for fighting game enthusiasts.
